AI IDEAS. HUMAN JUDGEMENT.

A starting point.
Not the finished artwork.

AI can help you explore a direction. A professional designer turns that direction into a considered identity and prepares it for the real world.

BEFORE YOU BUILD YOUR BRAND

Your questions.
Honest answers.

01

What is AI design useful for?

AI can help you explore ideas, compare visual directions and turn an early brief into something you can discuss. It is a useful starting point for a designer: a way to communicate a mood, a symbol or a possible identity. It does not replace understanding your customers, your competitors or what makes your business different.

02

Are the generated designs print-ready artwork?

No. Designs and downloads from this studio are concepts. An attractive preview, a high-resolution image or an SVG file does not make a design ready for production. A professional designer needs to refine the artwork and prepare final files to the printer’s specifications before you order business cards, packaging, signage or other printed materials.

03

Why do so many AI-generated designs look the same?

Broad prompts and familiar visual trends can lead to familiar results: similar symbols, predictable layouts and interchangeable styling. AI does not make every design identical, but accepting the first attractive result without a clear brand strategy can leave you looking like everyone else. A business-specific brief and human judgement are essential to creating a distinctive identity.

04

Can an AI-only design harm my business or brand?

Yes, it can. An identity that resembles competitors can make your business harder to recognise and remember. Inconsistent lettering, awkward details or poor reproduction can undermine confidence in your professionalism. Committing too early can also mean paying to replace packaging, signage or printed stock. A polished image on screen is not evidence that the identity is right for your business.

05

What finishing touches does a professional add?

A designer challenges the concept against your audience and positioning, develops a more distinctive idea, refines typography and spacing, and cleans up shapes and proportions. They check small-size legibility, create suitable colour and single-colour versions, and test the identity across its intended uses. The work may involve rebuilding the concept, rather than simply tidying it up.

06

What needs checking before anything goes to print?

The designer and printer should agree the final size, colour setup, image resolution and file format. Depending on the job, the artwork may also need bleed, safe margins, correctly handled fonts, suitable line weights and checks for transparency or overprinting. Review a proof before approving production. Requirements vary by printer, material and process.

07

Does an SVG download or a realistic mockup guarantee quality?

No. SVG is a scalable file format, not a quality certificate. It can still contain weak drawing, poor spacing or details that disappear at small sizes. Mockups illustrate a possible appearance; they do not prove that colours, materials, finishes or placement can be reproduced exactly. Use both to discuss a direction with your designer, not to approve a print run.

08

How should I use this studio responsibly?

Start with a specific brief about your audience, offer and personality. Compare the concepts critically and choose a direction to develop, rather than treating the first result as a finished brand. Take the brief and selected concept to a professional designer, agree the scope and fee, then review the refined artwork and production proof before launch.
